finally!

Tue Aug 26, 2003, 6:20 AM
finally! I have got round to updating my journal after all of these months.
I have made myself so busy since the start of the year I have had a break from DA for a few months but now I am back. I have recently bought a digital camera and am really starting to get into photography, influenced mainly from the amazing talent of artists on DA. The comments that I have received have been brilliant and touching and have inspired me to keep going and to get better.
My main area is Graphic media as you will see from my gallery but I wanted to take this to the next level and I think by combining this and photography I can keep on progressing and producing art that is attractive and fresh.
Before I started using computers, my main skill lay with freehand drawing and painting, an example is within the piece entitled "christ".
I have been stunned by the talent of artists on DA especially painting and this has got me keen to pick up my brushes again, I dont just want to use a camera or computer to create my art, I want to go back to where I started.
I am trying real hard to keep in contact with people who comment and watch me and I hope that I can build on the friendships that I have and develop new ones.

So thanks to all who take time to check out what I am about, means a lot to me personally and as an artist.
